Our Metering Automation Server (MAS) Provides Efficient Head-End Interface to Your Utility Operations
EnergyAxis Metering Automation Server (MAS) ensures easy management of metering business processes and access to the accurate and timely meter data that is the lifeblood of your business.

MAS manages the mesh network; receives, stores and reports data from the meters; and enables you to communicate with and manage any meter in your AMI network. MAS enables on-request meter reads, remote connect and disconnect of meters equipped with a service control switch, remote control of demand response devices at the customer premises, providing powerful AMI functionality from your operations center.

MAS is based on widely used industry standards such as web services, services oriented architecture (SOA) and XML, offering straightforward integration with other utility systems, such as CIS, billing, meter data management, work order, and outage management, enterprise application integration (EAI), middleware, or your meter data management system (MDMS) or meter data repository (MDR).

MAS is scalable to multi-million meter deployments while at the same time being cost effective for smaller utilities or strategic deployments. There are no pre-defined limits on the number of users, sites or transaction volumes for MAS other than those imposed by the Microsoft OS license. Supporting the data and user requirements of a large system does not require software upgrades but may benefit from additional hardware (CPU, memory, modems) or a distributed IT architecture.
