Entergy Project Manager - Baton Rouge, LA

Primary responsibilities
Experienced project manager with over 10 years experience managing large complex projects and the integrated schedule, scopes, and budgets.  Full responsibility for project execution, deployment of field hardware equipment, and IT systems.  Execution involves schedule, scope, budget, contract, and personnel management.  Must be able to develop and write contract project scopes.  Create and establish procedures for managing projects.  Monitor work progress, identifying risks and creating strategies to mitigate them.  Involvement in ongoing contract management.  Must have excellent leadership, time management and presentation skills as this position will interact with the customer management as well as business partners needed to execute project.  Person must be able to mold expectations of client in a positive manner. Will supervise other project resources and give direction. Will be required to be on site through duration of project.  Travel is required 30 percent.

Qualifications
• Ten years experience in Project Management or 10 years experience in managing large and complex projects and their integrated schedule, scopes, and budgets.
• Experience with AMI system implementation or meter services projects (electric/gas/water) desired.
• Must be able to understand and map client business requirements and establish customers' satisfaction criteria for project success.
• Highly desirable to have SAP or other project management tool experience to handle scheduling and planning activities.

Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
