Senior Project Manager

Primary responsibilities
Manage project contracts. Coordinate inter-group project personnel activities for AMI projects. Attend and lead project meetings. Manage customer project issues and schedules including system installation, meter installations and training. GIS meter site planning in support of metering systems projects. Ensure all facets of customer projects are appropriately addressed. Provide reports to customers and management on projects as required.

Qualifications
• Five or more years experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ten or more years experience in the electric utility, telecommunications or SCADA industries with metering systems implementation experience desired.
• Ability to work effectively with other Elster groups to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability while recognizing overall corporate product plan constraints.
• Knowledge of electricity metering and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) systems highly desired.
• Good oral and written communication skills; experience developing and presenting project status reports (internally and externally).
• Experience managing multiple activities simultaneously with the ability to prioritize based on business objectives.
• Willing to travel 10 to 30 percent - mostly within the U.S. but some international travel will be required. 
• Experience scheduling complex projects using Microsoft Project or other project management tools. 
• Experience with large scale meter deployment projects desired.
• Excellent customer relationship skills are essential.
• Gas and water metering systems background also helpful.

Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree or experience is required.
