System Technician

Primary responsibilities
The system technician is responsible for setting up meters, programming them, setting up communication devices and getting thermostats, displays, etc., set up for testing and demonstrations.  Responsible for planning and coordination of formal qualification tests on applications/components designed for integration into mission planning systems. Validation of system requirements to ensure alignment with end user specifications. Stress and performance testing. Coordination with software and hardware.

Qualifications

• At least five to seven years of related experience.
• A self starter and be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Previous exposure to hardware testing.
• Familiarity with test automation tools a plus.
• Familiarity with communications architecture a plus.
• Travel is required less than 10 percent of the time.
