Senior Software Developer

Primary responsibilities
Conduct programming tasks including program analysis, design, specification, coding, debugging and documentation for commercial software products.
• Work with QA and customer support on issues reported from in-house testing or from customer sites.
• Work with hardware engineering to develop new products.
• Manage projects through the full product development life cycle.

Qualifications
Minimum five years experience in software development, preferably in developing commercial software applications.
Excellent knowledge of VB Net, relational databases such as SQL Server, and Visual Studio.
Strong development skills using stored procedures, triggers, multi threading, and structured development methods.
Familiarity with source code control systems.
Knowledge of automated meter reading would be a plus.

Education
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience.
